Okay team welcome to team 3. First order of business is to come up with a team name and then if someone would be so kind to come up with a team logo that would be great as well. 2nd order of business is to elect a team leader. A team leader is responsible for contacting all members, being sure we are all here and following the rules. I did it last year for my team but think I'm going to be way busy this year with the contest to be capt....the capt is also respondsible for contacting me with questions, requests and corrections etc..... it should be someone who is here often and was part of last years contest as that person knows the way....any offers. Okay team, what's our scouting reports look like?

Howdy fellas,

Hope the scouting in going good, as i have been out doin some leg work and coming up with good results. I've located several buck using some of my normal honey holes with the smallest being around 100'' and two real bruisers that will most likely fall in the 130''-140'' inch range. I don't mind being a team leader, i did it last season for my old team. I would be more than happy to do it, if no one else wants to step in. I dont recgonize many of the names other than rob and Titelist_03, so i thought it would be good if everybody would post there names, what states they are hunting, and any successes from last season. Any ideas for names or logos??

I'll be hunting central Illinois. Last season I had a shot at a 120' 8 but passed. Hopefully he wander his way back this season and he'll be a shooter. Also saw a couple whopper's but none came into bow range. The last month my camera has been out of commission so I haven't got any trail camera pics but this week I should have it back out there. I haven't had a chance to do much scouting on my own land. I've been busy scouting the land I will be a guide on this fall.

Pa Trophy Man, if you want the captain role it's all yours if you ask me. I don't think I'll have the time come late October.

As far as names go I'll through a few out there
Rack Attack
Wall Hangers
Team Pass Thru
Size Matters
The Drop Tines

Ruggedcross is here and ready to rock and roll! I will be hunting Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and possiblably North Dakota (late season) I have a 140 - 150 class 10 pointer working the land I hunt in Wis., a 100+ 8 pointer in Michigan, I was asked to go to Ohio and hunt in late Oct. but have never been to the land before so I don't really know much about it. all the guy told me was they pass up the 8 pointers we shoot here. The guy is a friend of my brothers but I don't know if he is telling stories or not???? If I don't connect on something by Nov. I will be hunting the rut in Buffalo County Wis. and should be albe to at least get a crack at something in the 130+ range. This is my first time in the contest and I am looking forward to hunting with you guy's (from an internet stand point). I too like the sound of "Team 3 - The Drop Tines." Pa Trophy Man if you want to be the team leader that's good by me!

Hello team, Kriesis is reporting in!

Mathew is my real name, and I'll be hunting in Ohio this season.

So far the scouting report:
I've located a very nice spot that has about 4 heavily used trails coming together along with a fence line that on the other side is state protected land. I've hunted this spot (or close to it) for the past couple of years--missed a nice 8 point last year, and shot a decent 7 point from it the year before. I'm also starting to look at a swamp area where I just found a nice trail leading in and out--it will be harder to hunt this area, but I'm going to give it a shot, when the wind it right.

This is my 4th year bowhunting, so I'm still rather green, compared to others. I've never really shot a "monster", but I hunt hard, and will give it my all!

As the team reports in I'm liking our chances this year. As some of you know, I have the nack for turning in decent animals and I'm always trying to outdo myself on exceptional animals. Last year I helped my team with 80"'s with just a one horner and a broken rack on the other, he went 3.5 years old and would have been a 130" deer...that's what I'm to bring in/plus....I know the animals are there and I'll hold to the second week of Nov, our last week for a lesser buck...good luck Team.....

I'll vote for Pa Trophy Man as team capt as well....and the I's have it, PA, your capt.....but Drop Tines was used last year, let's try to be a little original....
