Well fellas.
I got us some points anyway this weekend. Saturday evening about 4:45 I had 2 deer head down twards my stand. No rush, as they were eating acorns leaves etc. The first one in line was a small nubby that got within 10 yards of my stand. We are almost to the point of our season in WI where it is Earn a Buck, but I didnt want to take him even though it would fill a tag. The deer following was bigger, and got with 15yds as well. So I was able to draw and take a good slightly 1/4ing away shot. Punched both lungs and the bottom of the heart. Needless to say it only traveled 30 yds, and piled up. But the funny part, is that for the nex hour and 15 minutes, the other never leaft. And it wasn't bothered at all that this one bled out and was dead. He continued to eat and mill around until I finally decided to get down, right around dark. Anyways, it will be good eating, and points for C2C.

Crud. I forgot. Baldies are allowed over at AT along with a buck. I can shoot as many deer as I can tag in my area. In another week or so, you will be required to fill an anterless tag to harvest a buck, or as we call it Earn a Buck.
I wasn't going to shoot, but Ill need that tag filled before the rut kicks in.
