Default RE: Do it all shotgun?

ORIGINAL: spuddog

Mossberg 835: handles 23/4" - 31/2" shells for everything from Rabbits to Geese & Turkey. You can purchase other barrels and it has a tang safety that is ambidextrous (sp). If you don't think you need the 31/2" cabability then go with the Moss 500.

x2! even if you don't "think" you'll need the 3 1/2", you can still shoot the 2 3/4" and 3" out of it. i use 3 1/2" when i deer and turkey hunt and 3" when i dove and duck hunt. only time i use 2 3/4" is when i skeet shoot. i've been shooting my Mossberg for well over 10 years and haven't had the first problem with it.
