RE: Browning A-bolt in a 243 or keep looking?
A hot stepping 55-60gr .243 pill will out perform the 22-250 in the velosity department and a higher BC 70-90gr 243 will shoot flatter, buck wind better and hit harder than the 22-250 or swift at longer ranges.I found that the 85gr sierra gameking HPBT holds tegether pretty good and makes a decent coyote/wolf/small deer bullet, but perfer the 100gr bullets fordedicated deer use.
I actually have owned and shot 22-250, 220 swift, 223, 25/06, even a 6mm/06 and settled on the 243 as the most practical of the bunch.
