ORIGINAL: Rammer

younggun still has alot of growing up to do. He still has no clue what he is talking about. Since he has never owned a 22-250, 243, 220 Swift, etc etc etc.....

243 is a great 'yote round and it will double very nicely for a deer round/antelope, etc.

I do havea 22-250 in my house, and shoot it often. 220 Swift is a cartridge my family has lots of experiance with for killing coyotes and even antelope in Nebraska on long-distance shots. They got rid of it though, the 220 Swift, since it was a dying cartridge at the time, but it's actually gotten some popularity in recent years.

I've read in Field and Stream magazine about some coyote hunting guide who likes the .22-250 Ackley Imp. But I have no clue as to what the benefits are. I've also heard a couple things about the 6.5x284 Norma, but I don't know anything about it except that Savage makes one.
