I too hunt for the meat. And for the hunt itself. I will also NOT turn down the opportunity to harvest a trophy buck though. To me, taking a mature doe with my bow is still a monumental challenge. They are just as wary as a buck of the same age, possibly more so.

It's a personal choice thing really, everyone makes their decision and live with it. It's that simple.
