If they are feathers then let them dry and knock ost of the mud off. If you still want them cleaner then you can run them under a faucet and lightly rub the mud off. Then let them dry. Next step is to hold them over the spout of a tea kettle with steam coming out. This should stand those feathers just about back to normal. Practice.
