I have a couple of friends who put a lot of time and effort into setting up their season,by way of scouting out different area's old and new.Our success in the field is directly proportional to the time we have spent scouting.
It takes conscious effort to give your family the time that you should, and your home the time and attention it needs and your business or work the time necessary. Not an easy balancing act!I admire the folks who get it all done right.
My wife being a city girl cracks me up,you would think after 20 years she would know better

.Sometimes she speaks about killing a deer or turkey as something you can schedule.Yeah I will arrow that 10 pointer at 3:15 and be back home after I get it out of the woods and hung and skinned by 6:30.The balance for me is the hardest part.Grabbing an hour here two hours there of scouting time in addition to the times when you have several hours has worked for me.
Those folks who say they wouldn't know what to do with themselves if they weren't working have to few interests!
