kjclark7 you are right on as far as what I do.I strip it all down and clean it completly then after I reassemble it I run a couple patches down it with bore butter and put it up. Then before I take it out again I run a couple dry patches down it and then fire 2 or3 caps to make sure the hole is open. one other thing I do when I am putting mine together I put a little anti size on the breech plug that way it will come out easier next time you pull it.Good luck and BeSAFE!!!!!!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>my gun is over 25 yrs old I built from scrach and looks new yet inside and out!
