We are in Jackson, North Carolina.
Northampton County's Roanoke River bottom is home to the highest concentration of Wild Turkeys in North Carolina. Our four week season begins the second week in April.
Occoneechee Lodge has experience in turkey hunting dating back to the early 1960's. We will hunt together in pursuit of the sub-species in various other states from March through May. Our turkey season coincides with the annual spawning of striped bass (Rockfish) in the Roanoke River which borders our property. It is possible to catch over200 fish in a single day!
