I use 40gr V-Max in my 22-250 with 38.5gr H380. These will put 3 shots in 3/8" at 100yds. I don't even bother loading anything else in it. And from my experience on coyotes and praire dogs, the ballistic charts don't do this load justice. It shoots flatter and does better in wind than they say it should. H380 got it's name because when it was first developedit was Mr. Hodgden's favorite load to use 38.0gr in a 22-250. Varget and TAC also do really well with the 40 V-Max in my gun.
