Try cutting several small trees midway up the trunk so that they form a lean-to.Not all the way through the trunk,just half-lap them so they'll live.I'm planning to buy some bicolor lespedeza shrubs and Blackwell switchgrass.Maximillian sunflowers are great perennials,but kinda expensive.For quail,good ol' ragweed is a preferred food item.Good luck.p.s.
