i have a lefthanded mod 12 in 22-250. ive had it for 3 years now . mine came with the synthetic stock,it shot great but the forearm on the stock flimsy with the heavy barrel . i bought a richards microfit laminated stock for it . i'm shooting 50grn v-max bullets and getting grps at 1/2-3/4in.
are you going to deer hunt with it? if so why do you want a mod 12 with a heavy barrel. i'd go with the weather warrior savage or you may want to look at the tikka t3 ss lite . i just bought on in 270 win at 6 3/8 lbs its really nice.
