Have several Redfield scopes. The oldest one is a 3x9 Tracker made in the USA. It is on a Remington 700 in .30-06. Thisgun and scope combinationare capable of .5 inch groups or better. All is well as long as the power is not changed. Change the power-zero changes.

My .223 varmint gun has a 4x16 Five Star AO. My Ruger .300 Win Mag has a 4x12 Five Star AO.They seem to be good scopes. i also have two newer 4x Widefields just lying around.Boughtmost of thesethese atclearance prices at Sportsman's Guide. The Widefields are not the same excellent quality asthe older made in the USA Widefield.
