pup,usually I have a bow for each set-up. Two years ago I started shooting a Merlin Max and dicided to use it for both set-ups. Plus I had two kids in collage at the time and my funds where low to say the least. So for 3-D & indoor I shot in bowhunters class with fix pins(Copper John site). My set-up was 27"draw @60# using a Carbon Express, 3-D Select arrow w/75 gr.tip and 2 in.feathers. Total wt. was 310 gr.@ 280 FPS. In mid-Aug. I changed over to my hunting set-up. I kept the same arrow but added wt. tubes for mass wt.for increased momentum. I don't think my Kenetiic energy increased much at all. So for hunting I shot the same site but increased my draw wt to 64-65#. My arrow change ended up being 4"feathers,90 gr muzzys w/36gr wt.tubes. Total increased wt was 50-52 gr. at around 250 fps which didn't matter much anyhow cause I don't need the speed for hunting. I stayed within the spine of the arrow so the change over was simple and easy and I didn't have to adjust to the feel of a new or different bow. I did have to resite my CopperJohn for bin gap but no biggie. Now after the kids are out fo collage I'll go back to two bows but for now I works just fine. Good luck. JERRY
