I figure the only way to improve the Gold Dot is a guidance system. So that, once the Gold Dot leaves the muzzle, its guidance system alters its path as need be, so that it impacts the deer right behind the shoulder or in the anus.

I notice that the anus shot isn't discussed in HuntingNet.com's URL on shot placement. They are really missing out on a good shot now that we haveGold Dots.
