I bought a Remington 710 in .270 two years ago. I can not deer hunt in Illinois with a rifle (only shotgun), but can go to Minnesota. Since I would not be using it very often I didn't want to spend an arm and leg on a gun. I have shot a box and a half through it and shot an 8 point at 170 yards.
I know it is not a high dollar gun, but does what I need it to do so far.
