A buddy of mine had been seeing 4 racked bucks in a particular green field on each of his bowhunting trips at his hunting club.Problem was thatthere just wasn't a good place to get up a tree to bowhunt them in that area. I told him to take my new T/C Omega and get a jump on the rifle hunters at his club. Alabamaallows 5 days of muzzleloader hunting before the centerfire rifle season starts. Two days before the regular rifle season came in my buddy killed this 7 point. Shot distance was 70 yards. I had him loaded up with 100 grains of 777 and a 250 grain Shockwave. The buck traveled 30 yards after the shot before crashing.
