I would like to be able to do eventually drop a deer at 300 yards without hesitation or second guessing of my ability. My uncle has dropped a deer at 450 yards on his property. Not that I will be trying for a shot that long, the land does generate some long range shots. He is a swat sniper and practices almost daily on a 300yrd range in his backyard. I too will be shooting at and beyond 300 yards with him (just not at deer for me) and want to ensure I have a rig enough to join in the fun.
