RE: T/C ShockWave Sabots 200gr. vs. 250gr.
I've tried about every load of 777 in my Prohunter that I can load. For accuracy I use 110grs. 7772F,and a 250gr. SW. For hunting I shoot 120grs.777,and a 250 SW,or SST The 120gr. load gives me a little more power,at the expense of around 1/2 inch bigger groups at 100yds. Actually 115grs. is about the best overall load in my gun. It dosen't like anything over 120grs. though,the accuracy really goes down hill from there. I haven't tried the three pellet load (3 50gr. pellets) yet but intend to,after the first of the year when I can get to the range more.
