If legal...Pack him out...You can get a rachet pulley from Lowes hardward and winch him up a tree limb...Bone out the meat and put in plastic bags and strap these to your treestand or a back pack and come out with the meat...I have even tagged deer on public land, called them in with my cell phone, written down the verification number of the kill and just came out with the meat....A deer can even be skinned on the ground, seperate the hams from the pelvic with a knife and bone out the rest...

I don't hunt much public land anymore, so I just use the Rancher...
