RE: Containment rests?
Bow, I got good accuracy with the WB and feathers, but didn't like the wear I was getting, about like you describe. I also figured that with feathers you need to waterproof them, and after watching how they passed through the bisquit, flattening down, I was not comfortable with it if I should be hunting in a good rain. I think feathers in the rain are enough problem without trying to squeeze them through the bristles of the WB. I have no real proof yet that the accuracy will suffer, but in mind it seems as it would, which would lower my confidence. Since vanes are simpler and already waterproof, I prefer them on the WB.
