Greg, I respect everything you say and I was not including myself when saying poor souls. I was mainly talking about people who can hunt public land only. This is just my second year to hunt so I still have LOTS of things to learn. That is one reason I am reading this forum as often as I can. Because there are lots of people(yourself included) with a wealth of knowledge that I can take a lot from. I hope to someday be able to spend as much time as you do in the woods. However right now I have more important things in my life. You are absoluetly right, we make our hunts, some people just put hunting trophy bucks on the top of their to-do list.
JB like you I am busy, one thing I have learned is to spend the "right time" in the woods. Shooting big deer is not on top of my list. Paying for my daughters private school, coaching baseball and soccer for her. Spending time with my 1 year old son. I know life is busy, I watch the weather hunt the days I think are the best. Take my vac last two weeks of Nov. I do the best i can, if it works out great. If not, it is only a deer, no big deal. I do love it, I look forward to the day I can hunt like Gregh.

I will lease or buy some land in Ohio next year, folks might think I am nuts, but I want to improve and get better at bowhunting. Decide what is right for you, if you ever want any help let me know. I love to talk hunting with guys!!
