RE: Archery Buck of a Lifetime (your area)
I never bowhunted until 7years ago and my first deer with a bow was a tremendous thrill. It weighed 65#. Since then I have killed a few "nice" bucks and a lot of does. I started passing on smaller bucks a couple of years and finally killed a 10 this year that grossed about 135. In my wildest dreams I would not have imagined that I would killing that kind of buck with a bow when I started. 150-160 class bucks are not rare here in NW Okla and if I live long enough I might be able to bag one.
Most of the bigger bucks around here are killed by rifle, though.
