Great story with a great ending!

I've had 2 deer that I had to recover in the water, one being my very first. He ran and jumped in the Kankakee River and I had to jump right in after him so he didn't wash down stream. But neither time did I have to strip. That's hilarious!!

That's the kind of dedication I think we should all have about our game; if it's good enough to kill, it's good enough to recover, no matter how difficult it's going to be. I cringed a little every time I read someone post 'and it was only a doe'. She deserved to be found, just as well as any other deer.
