Been kinda slow lately - seein deer but none comin close. Lots of pheasant pressure. Done archery huntin for a while now - leavin in the morning for a weekend of deer hunting (rifle) out west in Perkins County SD. Will be back sunday nite but east river opener is this weekend. Will be interesting to see if any deer survive the slaughter that usually happens from the neighbors hunters every year. They seem to shoot anything and everything that moves - doe, buck, whatever size rack - makes it tough to grow decent deer year after year. Anyhow - will get out probably next wednesday/Thursday possibly. Workin cattle next friday so im kinda limited for a week or so here. Good luck to everybody over the weekend.
