Champion is a good company. They make solid, well crafted bows at a reasonable price. As far as that goes the Champion is just the best one (IMHO) in the mix on that site. PSE makes great bows, and you may do well to spend the extra $$. If your looking for that price range, i'd look at a few other sites

I think Alpine makes a great Bow for the price, Reflex bows are an offshoot of Hoyt and are a great beginner bow as well. Darton, Martin and High country have bows that may be in your range as well...all good.


While you may spend a little more at the pro shop, it may be worth it to have someone with a clue help you set it up. Ifyou catch the "Bug" as many of us do, the pro shop can keep you in the loop and shooting at your best.
