Way to go Mod70. We've got poachers and trespassers on our land and I haven't caught them yet, but I've finally got family support to crack down on them. I know that the GW has other things to do besides patrol our place and that the primary responsibility rests with the landowners, but it's my inlaw's place and they didn't want to make any trouble with the "neighbors." These are the "neighbors" who have destroyed fences and equipment, and shot cows as well as helping themselves to the land and wildlife. My best blind has about 2 dozen bullet holes in it from over the summer. Are these the same people who some of us would protect by not turning them in? We put up signs and they tear them down if they pay any attention to them at all. For all of these reasons, I fully support what you did and I don't understand the thinking of those who would do differently.
