Default RE: spin wing vanes

I'm using Kurly Vanes. went from 2" to 2 7/8" (biggest they make) to ease the fears of my old fashioned hunting buddies (Yes, with my set up, I can hit the SAME spot as my field points with fixed blades (4 blade 1 1/8&quot at 288 fps!!!
I use a drop away rest, so I have no fears about clearance (Now up to 301 fps...NO contact!)
They hold up well as long as you don't go THROUGH targets with them, and don't put heavy things on them while they are in the quiver (don't ask)
They are lighter than feathers....something to consider when thinking of FOC, waterproof, and quieter than feathers as well.
I am 100% happy with them EVEN for hunting!
IMNSHO they are also brighter than vanes/feathers if you get floro colors.
