Cut the squirrel into quarters season the pieces with salt pepper , season all , garlic powder , and onion salt. Flour up the pieces nicely and in a heavy skillet heat up some oil, on a medium heat brown all the meat ,once all the meat is browned add enough water to almost cover the meat then reduce heat to a low simmer cover tightly and let simmer for 1 to 11/2 hours depending on how old the squirrels are (young tender ones you can almost pan fry )turn the meat over after about ¾ hour and check to see if more water is needed once your squirrel is tender remove it from the pan and add water to the pan to make some of the best gravy you have ever had. Easy delicious fall off the bone squirrel
