Hi all. Thanks for the offers. I am looking for a .243 due to the low recoil for her.She wants a "pretty" gun (wood) but a synthetic is a minimum 1 lb lighter and at the end of the day I think she will appreciate that over looks. Something like a Browning Micro Hunter - may be the best of both worlds. But again, looking for a whitetail rifle with lower recoil for her.
