Opener for doves was beyond amazing west of Houston. Easy limits. Pick your shot. Groups of 50+ birds common. Only weird thing, 95% of our birds were whitewings. What gives?? I'm talking huge flights of whitewings. Have they pushed out our native mourning doves? Last year I saw maybe 20 or so whitewings and killed two. This year its like someone flipped a switch.
