RE: Barnett Rhino Recurve crossbow
Its about12 years old,I have the one my wife had before she died.
I don,t use it but I did take care of it for her.I think the paper work for it was in her files and was thrown away when I moved.
There are a few things I can tell you about it.
It is very accurate if you do a trigger job on it.
It is slow compared to the newer one,but it does a good job on deer with a heavy arrow; it will shoot almost exactly the same speed with a heavy arrow as a light one,
The mount for the rear sight[ or scope]is very weak any slight bump will change the POI and you will have to sight it in over again.
There were several models but most of this will apply any how.
Since it has been obsolete for more than 10 years there may not be any parts available,but most of it is easy to have made [better than the original]by a machinest or a gunsmith.
20 yards is about the best range to sight it in for, gives a PBR of 23 yards.
