Default RE: Trigger Punching????

I recently had "target panic" and i read all these articles about how it takes months of blind bale shooting to get over it. And it seemed the more i read about how to fix target panic the worse i got it. You keep reading and reading about target panic this and that and before long you can't even draw your bow without instantly thinking TARGET PANIC! So i went back to a more simpler approach, I would draw my bow and hold it for several minutes just aiming at the spot, then i would let down, i did this for about a half hour, then i took a break and started aiming, aiming , aiming with my finger behind the trigger and just practice squeezing my finger slowly as it was behind the trigger. And i created myself a preshot routine. So now i dont think OMG will i punch the trigger again!? Now i think aim aim aim aim, squeeze, aim aim and continue to aim all the way till the arrow hits its mark. The trick is being confident that you are the best and to tell yourself before you draw is to r-e-l-a-x and just aim, aim aim and before long you will be slowly squeezing without telling yourself to. Hope this helps.
