Default RE: Let us see your doe kill photo's

I don't have a photo but a pretty interesting story. I was able to get a leftover tag for a mulie doe for a friends land. Now these deer are wild and free ranging in the mountains just west of Denver but not exactly "wild". However there are way way too many. Anyway, I took a mature doe and while processing her myself I began cutting the round steak section of her hind leg it seemed really deformed. After I cut the meat off and looked at her bone it had obviously been shot and pretty much shatterd. It had healed up really well considering the wound. It basically it came up from her hock and at the wound made a large loop (3/4 hole) with a big knot at the impact spot and then pretty much normal above that. She showed no signs of limping or any indication of her injury at all while walking around. I even recoverd a piece of bullet jacket embeded in her leg. It just goes to show you how tough these animals really are. I hate to think of how long she had to suffer with a wound like this. I'm really surprised she even made w/o bleeding to death or coyotes getting her.
