I heard you can own them in PA, dont you have to have an enclosure so big per deer? And what do you pay per deer? Are buck more?

sorryabout the questions, thats great though. Could you imagine the reactions you'd get at your local park with a whitetail deer on a leash.
Buck are more expensive. It all depends on the genetics how much you pay and from who you buy the deer from. Mine were pretty cheap. The doe was given to me. The buck we bought from a family whos dad died. The sikas I bought a pair for $600 off a preserve. That was including a white stag which is a little more. You can pay anywhere from $450-$20,000 for a fawn. Yes I said $20,000 I know a guy that gets big money for his fawns. Hes getting his bucks over 200 inches consistently. We have a lot of deer farmers in our area. Alot of them sell to preserves. I will never raise a deer to be sent to get shot.
