Remington 742 Woodsmaster .30-06 * SOLD *

Here I have a Remington 742 Woodsmaster .30-06 rifle complete with a Tasco 3-9x40 scope. My father bought this gun back in the late 80's from his brother-in-law. He didn't shoot
it much except to sight it in for deer season in southern Missouri. Shortly before moving to Indiana in the mid 90's, I traded him my Ruger 243 for it because his old brittle bones
enjoyed the milder recoil of the 243. But I never got to go hunting with it since we moved to Indiana and are required to use shotguns. I have shot it at the range a few times.
Thats it. Now it is just taking up valuable space in the safe.

For its age, it is in excellent condition. Very few scratches, and they are mainly on the wood. The wood is still shiney, the blueing is in great condition, and the bore is excellent.
I would put it at a good 95%. Still has factory iron sights. Comes with a 4 round detachable magazine, and swivel studs for a sling.

Asking $375, but that is negotiable. Would prefer a FTF in northern Indiana, but am willing to discuss shipping options with the right buyer. Email me ryanwardlow(at)earthlink.net.
