just keep in mind that using a bigger trolling motor then you need even if you dont use its maximum thrust it will run your battery down faster then a smaller one.
With the newer motors, MotorGuide Digital, and Minn Kota maximizer, they arent too far apart from the smaller motors. Get a size 31 battery from wal mart ($70), and you can fish all day.
