RE: 2003 Hoyt Supertec Questions
I shot both the razortec and a supertec the other night. I gotta admit, I was really impressed, especially with the supertec. It had the spiral cam on it, and I absolutely loved the draw cycle. It was silky smooth with not much valley, just the way I like it. I thought it was real similar to my BK2 in that regard. I prefered the spiral cam's draw cycle to the cam and 1/2, but I don't know what the cam & 1/2 letoff was set at.
I also couldn't believe how quiet the bow was, for being a burner.
Frank, get in to the pro shop with your "winter garments" on and shoot one. I think you're going to find that it's not a problem.
All in all, I liked both bows, but I really liked the supertec. But not quite enough to cancel my order for my DC Patriot. If I had the $$ to buy two new bows, the supertec would be the #2 choice.
