First time this has ever happened...
I finally got some pictures of my custom over-draw for my bow, I'll post and update everything tommorrow. Tonight was so exciting though, I put my rest on, and I went outside to make sure my sights were still accurate because the rest location might have changed which would have changed everything.
Anyways...
First shot was a good shot (only shooting 20 yds. away though), right in the bullseye (2" diameter), but a little off to the edge. Next shot was in there as well, so I'm assuming there is nothing wrong with the sights.
My third shot (and last arrow I was going to shoot for the night), released and made a horrible sound (at the time, now that sound is music to my ears).
I robin-hooded the second arrow I shot!!! This is the first time I've ever done this, man it was fricken awesome! Split the nock right down the middle, I mean it was fricken awesome!
So, I guess in closing, I think my sight is pretty well on with the new rest. I'll put pictures up tomorrow.
I'm just questioning whether my bow is tuned properly though. I mean I am hitting right where I am aiming, but my arrow angles are changing, but that may be because it's a soft target, and not a solid one? My arrow/string/sight pins all line up perfectly, and my arrow is level at full draw. Guess I'll just have the shop take a look. Just thought I'd share this story.
