RE: So how do you like Wal Mart now?
I'm not a walmart basher but I wouldn't buy my gun from there anyway. 1) because they usually don't have the model I want anyway. 2) The one gun I bought there, a blackpowder inline, was such a hassle (mostly due to Federal and Company policies) that I decided it wasn't worth it. I also wouldn't buy my bow there (thread back on track) because I want, and need, the expert advice of a good bowshop. Plus bow selection is non-existent. As far as ammo, clothes, seed, broadheads, STANDS, etc. Walmart is the deal! (but after the season is over with 50%+ mark-downs) I have too many things on my wish list and too little money to play pious with my purchases (HEY, I'M CHEAP). I save my premium purchases for things that count, like guns and bows, and my one mobile stand. I love WalMart and the cheap products they sell. I'm not too thrilled about buying from the Chi-coms but try finding everything you need from non-chinese manufacturers. I can't afford that kind of time and money. I don't hate WalMart for being big, or successful, that's part of the American experience to become as successful as you want and are capable of being. Besides, I remember what it was like BEFORE WalMart, especially after Kmart caved and stopped selling most of their hunting stuff. Buying hunting stuff at Roses (small sizeKmart style storemostly out of business in this state)was REAL tough. (selection of ONE)
