You can buy nearly any bolt action rifle you want and simply remove the old stock and put on a thumbhole stock for an extra $150 or so. Sometimes you can even come out cheaper that way. Most bolt rifle manufacturers make quality rifles, so brand is as much personal preference as anything. My personal preference is Browning, but to each his own.
