How bout some nice partition golds?(3 inchers) will do the trick out of ANY GUN. I know that I can tell the difference between regular slugs and even some large magnum rifles. "AND I WEIGH 260 POUNDS" I also shoot as often as I can. I have a 7mm ultra mag, 300 ultra mag, 338 winchester mag, 300 win mag....plus many others. And i can honestly say that, my marlin 512 loaded with 3 inch, 12 ga partition gold slugs is my least favorite gun to shoot. (This is honest)

I remember one day going to the range and shooting 55 rounds out of it after shooting my 30-06. My arm felt like it was going to fall off.
(I like to shoot as much as possible to illiminate anticipated recoils and flinch. I want to get rid of them so I wont encounter them in the field, where it matters most.)

Ishoot as much as I can and am very comfortable shooting large magnums.
After about 5 shots from the 3 inch partition golds, it starts to hurt and from then on its a mind game for me.

Im sure if this kid is new to shooting or even if he shoots on occasion, the 3 inch partition golds will shake him up a bit.
