I have both on my guns. My bud has about 25 guns all Rem 700s all have Leupold DD rings. None of thescopes(all Leupold VX III's)needed adjustments that werent there because of the DD. I think the DD look better but I would make sure you lap the rings before you install the scope.

On the other hand Ive never had thosewindage adjust screws on the std mounts come lose or be a problem. I lap them also before I install. I know this prob didnt help much but I think youll be fine with the DD's
