Im trying to get a little insight into the pro/con of these two typed of bases. im mounting my 22-250 w/ a leo vx-III 6.5-20 x 40 w/ 30mm tube scope. ive done some searching for answers but have had mixed results. from what i understand the std bases allow for some play in adjustments provided the scope cant go that far. my question is if this is usually necessary. i dont like to introduce more movable pieces than necessary in my guns. any insight?
