I read in American Hunter magazine put out by NRA that Black Hills Gold produces good ammunition. Can anyone comment on the following BULLETS:
.243 95-grain Nosler partition (for use in .243 Win)Excellent choice for deer & antelope.
.25 caliber 100-grain Barnes Triple Shock (for use in .25-06) Good for sheep & goat sized critters
.25 caliber 100-grain Nosler Ballistic Tip (for use in .25-06) Good for small-medium deer, on the soft side for sheep, big mulies & especially goats
.30 caliber 180-grain Barnes Triple Shock (for use in .30-06) Good for elk, black bear& moose, not needed for smaller game
.30 caliber 180-grain Nosler Accubond (for use in .30-06) Same as Barnes TSX
The primary use for the .243 and .25-06 would be deer and antelope. The .25-06 might be used some other time for sheep or mountain goat -- (Ya! like I'm ever going to draw a non-resident permit for one of those species! Right!). The primary use for the .30-06 would be elk, moose, black bear.
Good Luck!
