Default RE: can a Canadian goose cross bred with a farm goose

Absolutely. I remember seeing a cross breed between (probably) a large white domestic and a Canada at Silver Lake in downtown Rochester, MN. Which by the way, is where the Giant Canada was first re-discovered by Dr. harold Hanson of the Illinois Dept. of Natural History in 1947 (I think). Giant's were thought to be extinct until then. Of the 2,500,000 Canada geese in NA in 1996, 1,000,000 were Giants (Branta canadensis maxima). What a recovery.

Got more questions on goose biology, goose behavior, goose calling, decoying, flagging etc.? Ask her or e-mail me.
