Perhaps youshould pin down the reason why your Jack Russell became gun shy. Too many guns at once? Introduction to the gun wasn't done correctly or too soon? Did you go from a .22 to louder shotgun blast?
No matter what breed you do get, you need to figure out what made your Jack Russell gunshy; you don't wantto repeat it with your new dog.
