No reason you can't setup your Mathews for turkeys... like you said, you going to practice with it. I wouldn't recommend the blue fletch tho...for safety reason....tgobblers heads are known to be blue in the spring mating season and I would't want some errand turkey hunter to mistake your fletch for a moving head of a gobbler..for safety, your not suppose to wear anything red, white or blue for turkeys...especially something that moves alot like your arrows on the bow..
