...So, I think I do the same as you do. I took this guys post as him doing the same thing. Maybe he means that he calls while he is STEPPING? I don't know. Here in SC, you can't shoot a hen period. So, I think its pretty safe for now.
- Agree that we share the technique- I alsolike to use a peacock call to get birds to sound off, particularly in the later part of the season when cutts, hoots, hawk screams,and caws have worn out their welcome.
- I read the original post as calling while walking, so it will not be clear unless
bushmaster_5bkowades back in.Again, do not ever think you are safe just because you are using hen calls in the spring - you are safer for sure, but not safe.
